Re: Spleene Door

funny - looks just like a door Yeah, it looks like a Door from 6 years ago. Pretty old outline. We changed that one ages ago as together with the right amount of stiffness it produced too much spray and not enough control when the wind picked up. :thumb: Anyway copy-cat designs are always the best ...

We currently use Paulownia Wood Cores on our boards. What is extremely important is the way the woodstrips are put together. Ours have jaggered ends, almost like zig-zag which makes an extremely good bond between each segment when glued together. This makes the core more pricey to produce but ultima...

Re: Light Wind Board

There are quite a few options but I will concentrate on the brand that I am the most qualified to talk about. The ultimate lightwind/upwind Twintip boards would be the Spleene Doors which come in sizes 159-45 and 164-50 in the High Tech construction and in size 160-44 in the Fun Tech construction. F...

Test location Island Ruegen Northern Germany Rosengarten. Measured with Windmaster 2. First day wind was slowly p...

Re: Nobile XTR vs. Spleene RIP 39

Hi Klaus, I think you are confusing yourself more and more. The HT-RIP39 does not need any special way of riding it or to go upwind. My best tip is to get in touch with Spleene Germany and see where they have the next demo. Then you can try the board and make your own judgement. Forums and/or rider ...
