Do you have cankles (calf-ankles)? I do. I look for wetsuits that have a short cankle zipper or velcro flap closure. Or drysuit with built in booties.

Both the above comments can be correct. If you're riding an icy/ hardpack fast frozen lake, you can and should ride a smaller kite especially when there are many hard things around to hit!
