Apparently you need to join the Crandon Park Kitesurfing club, and get a card.

I don't know if they test you first or something like that...

13st in pompona is a good place, I went there yesterday for my first session ever.

http://www.airblissusa.com I went the first time this weekend, the kite flew great! Of course this is the only kite I have ever flown soo... I have heard Ram air types are best because inflatable could burst much easier if they hit the ground, plus the bladders get brittle in cold..

I just bought a 8.5 meter Air Bliss Ram Air kite from a bloke at the beach here in Ft, Lauderdale FL.

Wondering if anyone has tried these yet, the comapny is reallly small..?

I will let you know how it goes....

People are kiteboarding in florida! South Beach is crowded, its best to goto Bal Harbor (96 Street). People go in Key Biscayne but I heard something about needed a card, or permission to go there to Kite... In Ft. Lauderdale, Meade Street in Hollywood and John Lloyd Park seem pretty popular. 33rd St...
