First event of the Naish Kite Race Series

The 1 st event of the Naish Kite Race Series went off yesterday at Naish Beach (Flash Beach) here on Maui. Condition were nice with a little bit lighter wind at around 15 -25 knots. With very little information on how to enter for this race, a huge crowd showed up of more than 40 competitors! So for...

Re: You can buy a board ... Alex Aguera?

Hi Alberto, Sorry I did not get back to you on this question. I have not checked into Kiteforum in a while. Yes, I do sell Production and Custom boards. Next container of production boards arrives in Seattle first of August. I have sold out all of the first production boards I received. Production b...

Re: Goods kites for 7-8 knots??

Get yourself the latest in raceboards and fins and you will be surprised at what you can do in 7-8 knots of wind...Just don't drop the kite because it doesn't want to relaunch in this light of wind very easily. Since we are talking about really light wind, I have a Note For BEGINNERS: If the wind is...

Too bad the lighting was poor.. Hard to make it out but that looks really, really high. The on board cam doesn't do it justice!

Re: 2010 Puerto Villarta North American Kite Racing Championship

Hi Ronnie, I am not sure about the 2010 Crossbow compared to the 2009? I just started kitting again after a 4 year layoff. I have only been using the 2010. It seems to be a great kite though and not just for racing. I used the 7m the last 4 days in heavy 30-35kt Maui conditions for wave riding and b...

2010 Puerto Villarta North American Kite Racing Championship

There has been some great racing down in Mexico the last three days in Puerto Villarta with most of the heavies from the last World Championships in San Fran. Briefly: Day 1 had Adam Koch (Ozone) and Damien Leroy (Cabrinha) fight it out. Day two: Sean Farley (North) the Local Boy Shines with a 1,1,3...

Re: Cabrinha Raceboard

The yellow board is a custom one I built for Kent Marenkovic last week for Puerto Villarta race. He also has a white one. They silver board was built by Ian last year for the Worlds at S.F.. The new Cabrinha Raceboard graphics are way different and trust me they look really good. Basically it is a w...
