Works perfectly , done it many times with my wife’s 2017 5x22m bar as well in light winds and no problems at all.

So glad North made the pigtails removable in 2017 and later so you can add extensions.
Plus the splices are stronger than the pre-2017 sleeved line ends.

Click bar is the way to go if you like to experiment with settings ! I used to make frankenstein bars myself but i've not ridden those since i got my click bar. The problem comes from your bar....... North kites are designed to fly on bars with the Y splitpoint up. You are trying to fly in on a Ozone bar with the V down.
