Re: Help me understand fish surfboard sizing

Do you like to ride slightly underpowered and get most of the push from the wave or do you prefer to ride powered up and slashing the wave? This will also effect the size/shape/volume of the board you prefer.

Re: Rant alert! my god! who the hell can afford kite equipment

Also, if you want a very specific thing, an exact kite model from an exact year be prepared to pay more. If you are more open to brands and focus more on the type/style gear that will work for you the price will be less as the options increase. And if you wait to buy it after your current gear goes ...

Re: What's the best harness?

But impossible to lock into the ropeslider at sea, once you accidentally release, you may need to sail aunhooked to the beach first.... A hook is safer easier in that aspect, also to handover kites. I keep a carabiner on my back grab handle where I can easily reach it after using the QR to clip bac...

Re: Deciding on first Big air kite

Re: Wave Kite with very little Bar Pressure

For what it’s worth I second the Ozone Reo. I’m not on it right now because I also like to jump but if you want a great handling wave kite with light bar pressure you won’t find better. Try it if you can.

The Reedin bar also has this feature, quite obvious if you grab it wrong way.

Re: Who is wrong?

They both appear to be somewhat in the wrong, meaning oblivious, and with any luck they will get tangled with each other and have to stay in the beach for a good long while so the rest of us can be safer.

Re: Who is wrong?

Well, I live part time in the USA so it is the manufactures fault who made a kite that jumps too high, sue ‘em!
