Re: Reedin Supermodel HTF

I don't think pivot vs supermodel will be a huge difference, at least not for me go for whatever is cheaper, and if you are getting bars, check which one you prefer (and their costs as well). Something I loved from my recent test was the reedin board (kev pro) and bindings, my personal board is a na...

99 USD is fantastic, and how small. How long to pump a kite?
I see it 199, which still is okayish

however no intake sand filter, feels a bit dangerous to use unnatended in windy conditions that might blow sand around

Keep on buying the expensive stuff, and it will keep on getting even more expensive.

Re: Reedin Supermodel HTF

I rode several sizes for a week recently(along with my gf), really like them, but tbf did not feel any substantial changes compared to my supermodel v1 (I am not at the level to feel small differences though.) I was thinking to update my v1 for the same size HTF, but will just keep the old one and g...

Re: First time kiting alone

It is all personal preference with the harnesses, some prefer soft some prefer hard, there are also hybrid ones that are hard on the back and soft on the sides. Try using yours a couple of times more and see if you get used to it, if not you can go to a shop and try several models until you find som...

Re: Soul 10m v2 front stalling

There may always be defective units sold, if something front stalls on me 20 times during a session, hell even 5-10 times, i would reconsider using it and try to figure out what is wrong.

Re: Soloshot 3+

Sure, but it feels like comparing a car and a motorcycle, and wondering why the motorcycle does not have an AC. Both of them take you somewhere, but how they do it is not the same.

Re: Soloshot 3+

The more you zoom the more you need to stabilize, the insta360 also has a 360 recording that can be stabilized using software (you can always move the point of view wherever you want)
they are just not comparable

Re: Board size for my gf

I want her to go to something smaller for sure, especially when well powered. For now i will just get big fins on the 136 and see if she likes it, if not i will try to put the big fins on my 138 If that one is not good as well then i will look what is available for dirt cheap around me (100-150$ sec...

Board size for my gf

My pretty light gf (54kg) learned to ride on my very old and big 144x44 board. While it is relatively low wind here always, she still prefes it to my naish monarch 138 She is complaining that the monarch is too "jumpy" and does not cut and edge as nice as the big one. The monarch has very small "wak...
