A PL arc will be near impossible to find under 500 but a LEI you will find all day long at 500. ARC's are turning out to be very usefull inland kites , go to Powerkiteforum for a good source of PL users. If your budget is really tight you cant go wrong with LEI , more of them, lots of used available...

Seeing you guys still on snow and especialy riding on top of hardpack gives me the same feeling as "most sexy kite pics". I think I need to plan a western vacation some day.

Do'nt forget the "how many of each type can you pack into the back of a van" test.
With 2 sometimes 3 riders traveling together this has become a purchase consideration for me.
