As on all their bars they (still) use FL-10 from Teufelberger (recoded to Tarifa 340T in 2018). These 8 stain lines are 340N minimum. Indeed at the splice this number can be lower.

Other option is nylon rod but that might be difficult to drill big holes (it will melt)

I think I would run water on the hole while drilling the nylon if melting is an issue.

A friend of mine had 2017 5, 7 and 9m Best Rocas get a spontaneous canopy tear. I know that Best is gone for the most part and there is no chance for support. I am just wondering if anyone else has had this problem too.

Not interested in getting into a Best bashing fest.
