Re: Whats happening at AKSA - AGM next week!

Certain people who have nominated to be on the new committee have told me plainly that they feel I am a negative influence on AKSA, and that they do not want me to be involved in AKSA now or in the future. AWwww, KP - Fo' was just kidding with you - deep down there's a lot of love. There is $46,000...

Buttercutter,

I thought about your idea, and my first reaction was 'It would be too stiff. Then I thought about it (It took a LOOOOoooong time!). My conclusion:

Where to buy a Landboard in the US?

The summer (and light winds) are soon to arrive here. Gotta prepare!

Does anyone have a website where you can buy a landboard - Esp. one designed to be used in soft as well as packed sand?

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

I like sweet, soul kiteboarding - However, my ego likes making beachgoes stare in a slack-jaw manner. I have to say that wakestyle moves look hurried, jerky and confus...

exactly :-) but how does it come other kites have less problems with going upwind in low wind situations ? Generally, larger kites will have less problem going upwind, as you can generate enough power to edge hard enough. Ergo, they will go upwind better in less wind. Low AR kites will sit farther ...

Only if they don't live up to their hype, I guess. If my sponsors* touted me as Sid, The Czar of Wave Riding , fudge would probably write things like: "What is this crap about Sid being a wave riding czar!?! 'Czar' is barely even a word!!! Besides, he rides waves like a guy with lots of extra chomos...

Kahuna & I have agreed to disagree on the licensing. Getting the government involved in anything usually doesn't make it better/safer. It will make it easier to ban your favorite area. Kite companies won't like it because it makes kiteboarding more of a hassle and less accessable. :( I think Starsky...
