Re: beginner accident ...who is at fault...

....Re the last post, why was the instructor incompetent?! Did you know the level of his students? Did you know what part of the course he was doing? I see "competent experienced" kitesurfers kiting well with 2 line lengths of obstacles at pretty every beach I've ever been to  Re the last post...

Re: Mui Ne Vietnam

Re: beginner accident ...who is at fault...

Re: Jesse Richman: World Record Kiteboard Flying from 790ft

Just one last comment.... .. .It sounds like the observer and winch operator is an expert paraglider pilot and he is by far the most important safety factor, The winch looks like the real deal. It's ironic that people who kiteboard look at something different and mutter, "That looks really dangerou...

Re: Jesse Richman: World Record Kiteboard Flying from 790ft

Sorry but i seem to think like this..... Jon Malmberg (the guy wearing black @ shirt sitting next to the winch wheel on the boat) was probably the real dare devil master who did all the behind engineer and planning this whole thing,Jesse is just a stunt kid he trained on doing this tow up trick.Just...

Re: Advanced technic to bail out in air loft .

This is not an air loft,it's a tow up from ground/water level to 790ft high.Probably was done with support and careful planning calculation, advices from experienced paragliders team (evidenced by reserve parachute he wear on his chest, harness mod to semi paraglider style and perhaps some kite mod ...
