Re: Mystic spreader bar clip thing

Most of my friends use mystic harnesess, but I can't get used to it. The click is not user friendly, specially in winter with frozen fingers. I've also seen it pop out twice, caused by bad locking in. It's just too hard. The 3.0 has not been a great improovment, IMO. Other friends are quite happy wi...

Re: How to land in boots without hurting yourself

I think straps are dangerous if you land with one foot off. Boots will cause you harder crashes but not so many knees/ankle injuries. I only rode straps while learning and since I got upwind I swiched to boots (I've been wakeboarding for ages). Now I can't even put a strap board on my feet without l...

Fly to Tanger, Morroco and take the ferry directly to Tarifa. No car needed.

Re: Alicante, kite sizes?

I'd suggest a 25m and a 35m on 50m lines - wind is typically very light. I have family there and have been visiting regulary for the last 10 years, only ever had 3 windy days :( Unless there is a very good forecast don't even bother going down the beach until the after noon, what wind they do have ...

Re: Alicante, kite sizes?

Throw your 11 in. If you're not lucky in Alicante and really want a ride, 1,5hr drive north to Denia and you'll have daily 25 kn SE winds. Check out RioMar in Denia (free) or Olibaba CKO club in Oliva (8€)

Re: F-one defected board?

Hi there,

As a wakeboarder you may ride better with boots so get rid of the leash and straps and forget about bodydragging.
