It has always been called kitesurfing here in Denmark - the name "kiteboarding" is very unusual and unknown by most. The thing is, that it is not only about progression or not - it is about being able to "keep the stoke" and enjoy being out :thumb: Most of us around here are previous windsurfers, an...
"dude the gear is not the problem! you need to keep tension in your lines. the gear isn't dangerous - you are dangerous because you can't keep your shit together! if you crashed into me cause of this, and it was "the donkey dicks fault" i'd still beat the shit outta ya." Twah, I think you're missin...
I think that most HAS solved the problem, by using stiffer and/or thicker DD's :thumb: At least the ones used by some in the past, that could be quite soft, where really scary if you ride hooked, and havent got the awareness of this risk  When water relaunching, it is not that easy holding one...

I know - but going powerfull and in the pocket is known as I wrote... The question is what makes the boards so EXTREMELY different regarding spray when on a less perfect not-steep wave ? (NOT in the pocket) The quad/thruster thing is maybe one thing yes :thumb: (I dont like quads myself, so not that...
This is a very difficult question, I know - but am interested in what other very experienced waveriders or surfers or shapers think about this: We all know that a TT with a sharp rail can spray huge, with or without a wave, just by pushing it hard in a turn. But thats not my point here... Waveboards...
Very helpful video. Thanks. Looks like you dig the tail of the board in pretty hard to slow down during the jibe. What about the front foot? Do you take it out of the strap before starting the jibe or during the jibe near the end when you switch feet? Looks like the back foot is out of the strap be...
