Re: Kitemare / Safety Share

I had my foil 3 or 4 times in the lines... One time, similar to what you have described. Re: My beliefs have changed.

FB_IMG_1562847328811.jpg I think age has a lot to do with it as well... My 14 y old son, was up and flying both sides with in 2x40 min. session. The second day he did the up wind "tack" (with surface tuch) on third attempt. All of this on a 105cm mast and a race wing setup on a strapless board. Mos...

Re: Complete Tear ACL

I recommend surgery if you planning to live an active life... Having strong muscle help hugely (now), but can not support your knee when bent (approx 30° or more) In sports like, football, basketball, ski, and kite etc. you put extra strain on your joint and the cartilage will be damaged in about 5-...

We have wind, you don't need a foil
You got it all wrong, we (me) use foil because we like it and not because there is no wind...

Re: Fortaleza Nov Trip Info

Its difficult to give direct advice, without knowing one's preference... Me for example, I enjoy foiling in high wind and have been foiling NE Brasil the past 3 years. (80kg) I'm in Taiba now... where getting through the beach break is a challenge, after that its all good. Cheers I totally agree, t...

Re: Fortaleza Nov Trip Info

"Wind is strong for foiling, at 90kg I often use 8m on tt,mostly 9m, rarely 10. Dont think you will foil on light days, they dont happen in Nov and if they do you will want/nead a break."
