Stones can be less of a problem than twigs and seaweed believe it or not....lines might snag around stones but so long as they're not too big, will eventually move the stones/pebbles or flick over them give it a go and see what happens or come down here and play on the sand! 15kn sw and sunny! :thumb:

Thanks for the advice I do a lot of solo water launch and recovery too, perhaps that's been a factor in the red line stretch; these are brand new kites, however, and out-of-the-box the 5th below the 'y' was kinda loose compared to the 2010 rebels I had, so just wanted to make sure nothing was haywir...

Thanks Dan... that's helpful. I had already shortened the 5th below the y to take out some of the 'unaccustomed' slop in the line.....some still remains and from your reply I ought to just live with it...it's normal. All good; they fly really nicely; soak up gusts well and seem just a bit less grunt...
