Re: Deciding on first Big air kite

Depends on what you like.. do you prefer the highest hangtime and smooth landings or fast looping kite? Haven't tried all the big air kites but many of them.. my choice would be Ozone edge or core xr. Smooth handling kites with the best hangtime (from LEIs). Duotone rebel was as good but high bar pr...

Hmmm - there was a super detailed thread about this some years ago. The gist of it was that there are some nozzles which look like the boston ones, but are slightly different and therefore don't fit properly.

Re: Ozone Boston Valve Solutions?

I have / had several kites with boston valves. All they work great. But I just got my first "new generation" kite pump (which is about 5 year old LF pump) which does have too small boston valve adapter. It just doesn't stay in the valve, *king annoying! Have to add some tape tuning to it

Re: New toy!

Nice graphics! It's sad that almost all the kites and kiteboards come with boring and ugly psychedelic patterns.

Re: Duotone Rebel SLS 2024

I tried rebel SLS in 10m and 9m at kite center in Greece in August . I guess they were still 2023? I felt way too much bar pressure, I wouldn't buy them because of that. But especially 9m jumped great!
I read from somewhere they reduced bar pressure to 2024 models?

a bigger picture/more pictures would be good. Is there abrasion on the leading edge? Above of the lower seam in the picture. And also above the tear

Re: Inexistent Reedin "customer care"

eh..? If the kite exploded when you tangled a line around it, any kite can explode/get damaged. It should not be covered by warranty. Warranty is for manufacturing defects.

Bad luck but s*it happens..

Re: Aspect Ratio of (big air & allround) kites

Flysurfer and ozone are the only(?) who give all the data of their kites on the website. How hard can it be to all others, almost are kite brands don't even share the weights!? Add a question “how reliable are numbers listed” When releasing Lotus, Flysurfer changed data sheet (wind range) for Speed...
