Planning my next holiday.

Got two young kids and therefore I'd like a hotel on the kite location. No specific wishes for wind or waves, I like all conditions.

I'm not yet sure about the period but this will also depend on where were going.

Anybody got some tips?

Sure you wanna go to Egypt now? In Holland all travel agencies cancelled the trips to Egypt.

With 80kgs I'd prefer a 10 and 8 as a quiver...
I'm about 100kgs and used to have a 12 and 10 but mostly took the 10. I'm in doubt to have a 10 as my biggest. Ride a surfboard..

I think the kite has way more influence on upwind capability. Did you try other boards or kites?

Don't know about the Badit, but with a 10m Rally you will be able to kite in 17 knots. But again, if you want to go looping, don't go for the Rally.
The RPM is way better. Lowend is little less then Rally so think you'll need around 2 knots more for the 10.

Think you can better change the 14 for an 8. I'm a bit heavier and have a 10 as my biggest.

Came from RPM's and noticed I hardly used my 12 since I could use a 10 RPM with just 2 knots more.

I took the gamble to leave out a 12 Rally. Much rather use a bigger board...

My advice is talk to a retailer, one you trust in your area or call one that sells both the brands to try and get a balanced view and most of all if you possibly can try before you buy. I've switched from RPM's to Rally's and indeed the lowend and upwind is much better.
But IMO it's not a kite to loop. Fladdering tips when powered.

I would def go for the RPM if you're looping it!
