Re: second session on a wing

For average weights, and a tad more, it seems these huge but slow wings are a thing of the past - except for beginners who ditch them quite fast again. W1100 is 2100 cm2 :o 1500 to 1800 cm2 are often used by beginners nowadays, and a few but not many keep them for low wind. 1000 to 1400 cm2 is ofte...

Re: Wingfoil Harness - your experience with current models

I have handful of friends using the Ozone Connect harness and they all really like it. I've been eyeing it based on their feedback. It looks like it has some nice features. I'm not sure how it compares to the other wingfoiling harnesses, but I've heard good things so far. Based off some of the post...

Re: Wingfoil Harness - your experience with current models

The back part of the harness is all soft. The webbing strap is sown into the soft part shortly after it enters the sides. So the webbing strap that holds the hook just transfers the weight directly into the soft back part. There does not appear to be any stiffer inlay in the soft back part. That's ...

Re: Wingfoil Harness - your experience with current models

I have the Dakine Solo harness. It has that very thin hook. It is the only harness I found that I really like. I had made my own hook out of nylon and a weight lifting belt and it worked okay but this is much better. The hook is so thin and lays flat so that you don't even know it's there. After yo...

Re: Wingfoil Harness - your experience with current models

I have the Ride Engine Vinaca. It works well, but the metal hook it came with - I took it off and made my own sliding hook that folds flat when lying on my belly on the board. The NSI hook is similar. I made the outer surface of the slot more of a convex V shaped ridge and left the inner side flat....

Wingfoil Harness - your experience with current models

Hi there, I started mid May with this lovely sport and my sessions get longer and longer - as well as my arms ! :D In order to make my body survive a couple of days in a row, I´m thinking about going harness. I´m coming from Ride Engine as my kitefoil harness, but as I learned now how it feels to be...

Re: Duotone Echo boom lengths?

this time I'm a late adopter as Corona held me back from italian surf beaches under strict Corona rules.I live to nice here in the german alps to swap with an outdoor-mask-duty and call it holidays. But my first take back three years, when testimonials started, was that the boom based concepts would...
