post cure - yes! I'm not sure about west systems and the adr expoxy I have used comes out of the moulds softish and with a post cure goes insanely stiff. the layup i did was 45 deg on the outside layers then uni all the way through, worked well. 12mm thick (no core) but hoping to get it cnc'd back t...

at least this forum (if you search past the endless carafino tipics) has lots of info for building foils so you could always make one for your board :P

Do you have a vacuum pump? I would recommend some pressure with the glass/carbon layers.
maybe since it's straight, just to get it working, clamp some thick rubber on top? will not be consistent but at least some pressure all around?

1 class is requiring pure skill, the other skill and fitness, I think that the olympics should be where the best athletes battle it out and therefore courseboards should stay as they are more physical.

Alex Aguera seems to have patented a new way of mounting the wings. Looks like there is a cone shaped interface and the wing is slid onto the cone and attached. You can see it in the photos where Adam Koch is working on his Aguera foil. Looks very sleek and streamlined. I'm sure the future will be ...

Low end would be presumably excellent but the huge wetted surface area would slow it down from the increased drag and (correct me if I'm wrong) but having so much lifting area quite long would therefore make it have a reynolds number way larger than a normal foil therefore turbulent flow problems wo...
