Topic: Does presence of a 5th line affect ease of turning a C-kite?

I ride Octanes with adjustable 5th line. From my experiunce the kite will not turn as well when depowered on the 5th line, lots of tension. No problems otherwise. 5th line is great for extending the range of your kite using the SS mini cleate, as you can adjust tension on the water. Having the right...

They all ways under/over estimate wind speeds to give kites huge range on paper.
Infact most kites have a sweet spot of 6/7 konts in my experince.

Exactly, I will keep looking for some TT board with surf characteristics, ideally something I can convert if conditions are looking like surf. Check out the Skywalker T wave, can set it up 60/40 with 3 fins on tail end which has slightly narrower outline. Can remove 3rd fin set straps up center and...

anyone tried Skywalker T-wave? http://www.skywalker.pl/twave.htm p. http://www.kiteboarder.co.uk/kitesurfing/viewtopic.php?t=14947 A quick review on T-wave. In a nut shell, a compromise board, you can get more fun out of it in waves and still works in flat water. A good all rounder if you get diffe...

..... If inflatos could match the setup time of foils, I might be tempted to switch back (mainly for price reasons)... There's virtually no difference in the setup time of a foil and a one-pump bow kite. My money is on a foil, if you dont get any tangles. No one beat me to the water (no tangles) My...

WARNING TO ANYONE PLANNING TO SWITCH FROM LEI'S: although foils will have you ready to go in no time and you could be the first off the beach, the easy self-launch ability of foils means LEI riders will often assume you're there to help them launch, and as a result you will often be the LAST off th...

Could use Q-power on a roll and make your own up.

I really like Q-power less tangles and never snapped any.
