Re: Stupid things that always amaze me

Really dedicated kitesurfing dudes that are at the beach with the sniff wind complaining in 12 knots complaining that theres not enough wind but then refusing to try hydrofoiling...... 12 knots is enough to ride a big board without a hydrofoil. Heck I don't even use what most other is considered to...

Re: Handy tricks you only found after beginner lessons

Depending what side you are lauching your kite after doing your lines straight downwind, twist the bar halfway clockwise if walking to the left or halfway anti-clockwise if walking to the right. Doing this you are ready to launch as soon as the lines get tensioned and avoid those situations when the...

Re: Strutless LEI vs foil

The question is very generic like what is better car SUV or race car. There are better or worse examples of both and both have advantages and issues. Only thing about strutless better than struted is weight. Struts on kites are not for fun they are as structural support which define wing profile. O...

Re: Moses 2019-2020

I have the H4 and H2 wings with 28" (71cm) mast with my dwarfcraft 4'6" board and looking for some insight in my future foil setup. I don't really know what I want just yet. I weigh 70kg's and love the H4 for lightwind but would like a bit more speed. Is the 633 a little quicker? It'd be nice to ha...

Re: Learning on monofoil

Never seen before but these monofoils look like the most difficult thing to ride with a kite. Perhaps if it grow and more users adopt this monofoil style new models with bigger mono wings may appear from bigger brands making it more accessible to beginners. Dont know but maybe this Delta model is al...

Re: Icaraizinho - any room recommendations?

Hi everybody, new to this forum here and looking for some suggestions for our next Brasil trip in November. We plan to stay a couple of days in Icaraizinho, could anyone recommend a nice hotel / pousada there? As I will be travelling with my wife who is a mosquito-magnet, we look for a clean and ni...

Lightwind assessment

I posted on HF section because it may concern foilers who seek ride in light wind conditions: If there is no one riding how do you assess the conditions to see if it’s worth giving a try? I am talking to below 10 knots of wind. Since there is no local station on the spot, from your experience is the...
