Re: From Cult to Torch....

Just do it... i went from boxer sles (which were my first kites) to torches a few years ago and yeah there was a slight learning curve but its not insurmountable. There will be just a few moments when you do something you're used to doing with your cult and the torch will respond with more speed and...

Re: Naish Park vs Ozone c4 for unhooked?

park all the way! torch is hands down the best c kite on the market, and a torch with bridles is surely the ticket to the best all round kite? those ozones dont relaunch! Have you tried the 2011 Torch? Probably the worst kite ever made. Not talking about 2010 and 2009 those ones are great... Eh? IM...

Re: New to Cabarete..Recommendations??

Best gear is crap, imo.... though i am sure plenty will disagree with me and i've not tried their new stuff. The kahoonas when they first came out for instance, would generally split down the center of the canopy between the mid struts when crashed a few times. The redline bar had a depower strap th...

Flexlite surfboards?

Does any one have any experiance kiting with the Flexlite construction boards in terms of durability? Do they stand up to kiting ok? Do they ride like a surftech or do they actually have some flex?

Re: G10 fin holes help needed

The difference looks to be 2mm. 4mm vs 6mm.. its hard to measure the screwthread without the proper tools.

Like i said i would prefere to not drill the board out unless there is no alternative.

G10 fin holes help needed

I have some fins i want to use with my current board. The holes they have are larger then the holes that the board has and i am wondering what i could do to use these fins with my board. I know the obvious solution is to drill out the holes in the board but i'd rather not go that route (risk of dama...

Re: Custom build Rocker Table

Do any of you do more complex bottom shapes? Molded fins/single to double concaves et? Are these possible in a home built set up or do you need a mould/snoboard press for that sort of thing? Or are these shapes made in the core before lamination?
