Re: Reviews on Naish Traverse 152 for average freeride?

I weigh 73kg and have the 138/41. As mentioned before it needs a bit more power, but when I am normally powered I have no issues riding upwind. It is stiff, feels very solid (also due to the thick rail, which is twice as thick as a usual rail), is a bit heavy, very smooth in chop and carves beautifu...

Re: Naish Phoenix

It's just the new owners cleaning ship I guess. They probably bought the inventory for dimes on the dollar and are now clearing it out. Most probably means they also have something interesting lined up in the near future. Naish could do with something innovative/nice because rehashing an outdated p...

Re: Board size, boosting on a nine

The difference in width has a much higher effect on the surface area than a couple of centimetres length.

Re: Board size, boosting on a nine

I am the same weight and I would say 134-138 length, 40-41cm width. I find width more important than length.

Re: Naish Pivot S28

Rode my new 11m 2024 Pivot for 4 Hours yesterday. Short version: the changes Ewan describes in the video are noticeable and are a very nice improvement and development vs 2023. I am very happy with it. Long version: Wind was 15-17 knots gusting into 22-24. My weight 73kg, I used a 138 Traverse. I ro...

Re: Need a copy-writer!

I would use ChatGPT and Deepl.com to create the copy by myself.

Re: Naish Pivot S28

I do hope that the 11m has less bar pressure not more than the S27. I found it to be nice on the S27 and lower than S26, but for my personal taste it could be even a bit lower. I found the bar feel and pressure on the 12 m and 14m (that was the 2022) quite different from the 11m (and the smaller siz...

Re: Naish Pivot S28

If I am lucky the kite should be here tomorrow or Friday and it looks like there's a bit of wind on the weekend to check it out.

Re: Naish Pivot S28

I have ordered an 11m 2024 Pivot. I will post my impressions after I have ridden it. I am coming from the 2023 model which so far is the best Pivot of all years in my opinion. In the video Ewan talks about reduced depth of draft profile, slightly higher AR with the kite going more to the front of th...
