Re: Covid vaccine

I am aware. If you are aware those poeple do not end up in the statistics, why bring up the argument? I would welcome that discussion. Why wouldn't the media have that conversation? Clearly there are "experts" that disagree here. This has been all over the media. Even in the report you posted what ...

Re: Covid vaccine

I would argue a large portion has already been infected. I think you are going completely off track here. They would have to have an active positive pcr test. Past infections wont get them into the statistics, at least not in germany. That would be completely idiotic though. If someone who had Covi...

Re: Covid vaccine

In Norway the official figures are always marked with a note saying these people did not necessarily die FROM Covid-19 - as we cannot say if they died from or with. Conveniently forgotten when the numbers are reported by the media - except for when people die after having gotten a vaccine shot. Tha...

Re: Covid vaccine

I have had fierce disagreements with Matteo V, but how hard is it to discuss what he is saying rather than discussing him? I tried ;-) He regularly states his personal opinion as facts and when asked for any proof he answers with a page full of google links mostly unrelated to the question at hand....

Re: Imperfections Carbon Mast

I do not get the negativity. Where did I attack you? I just tried to point out, that for me personally the fact that there is no foam inside a mast, is no feature in itself. I even get what you are trying to say, I think. More lightweight, stiffer, longer lastig, unbreakable - all great features. So...

Re: Imperfections Carbon Mast

@Jan:) cored structures weaken with time. Have any friends with GoFoil or Lift masts? Ever skied? What happens to your foam or wood cored skis after a couple seasons? Shear stresses break down the structure. So you're right, foam doesn't add much weight, but it's what causes the mast to soften up w...

Re: Imperfections Carbon Mast

Why would you want a hollow mast anyway? For that volume the weight of a low density foam is basically zero. What is that hollow section? 8mm*60mm? For a 80cm mast, that would be 384cm3. For EPS that would add up about 11g of weight. Thats probably less than 1% of the overall weight. I assume your m...

Re: Covid vaccine

How can you give any sort of assessment of the long term effects of mRNA? I am not suggesting it is likely that 5 years from now anything will happen, but how could you know it wouldn't? How can you give any sort of assessment of the long term effects of Covid-19 ? I am not suggesting it is likely ...

Re: Gong Veloce impressions

My aluminium setup with 90cm mast and Veloce XL was 4.7kg.
So weight is pretty ok.

For me the mast is too flexy for the bigger foils though.
But most setups share that problem.

Re: Gong Veloce impressions

I made a number of tails for my gong foil and scrwed them onto the fuse with some sort of adapter/cover for the fuse. STL's are attached if someone want to play with customs stabs. One is short and uses the original holes on the fuse with 30mm distance between holes. The other only uses one hole fro...
