Re: US Prices to Skyrocket?

The Pound Sterling dropped, yet not a single thing has changed since the Brexit, and probably nothing will change for the next two years according to some experts. Really, not a single thing? Food prices are rising, fuel prices have risen, the trade deficit has widened, racially motivated attacks a...

Re: Kitesurfing and backpacking. Is that even possible?

Take a 9m kite and a saw and whenever you're somewhere that looks good just make yourself a skimboard out of some scrap wood. It probably won't be amazing but it will allow you to get out.

Re: custom bar dedicated to hydrofoil

I can see a situation where the centre line gets wrapped around the bar and doesn't leave enough space for that release to work, yes. I can also see a situation where a foreign object such as seaweed jams up the bar. That 2012 release system may or may not have had issues at the time but Cabrinha ha...

Re: Switch Nitro 5 Durability Issues

I bought a 14m in december - seems to be holding up fine. Last time I inspected it properly was after I slammed it into a beach littered with razor clam shells and I couldn't find any obvious damage.

Re: Etiquette

1. When is it okay to lay your lines out on top of someone else's on the beach? When you're about to launch and someone has left their lines all over the beach instead of winding them up 2. When is it okay to cross upwind of someone on the opposing tack (who should yield/change to downwind course/wh...

Re: The Cabrinha Fireball (New Connector Safety Issues)

But make it any number you want, tbe same principle applies. Well the number is important - if you're moaning about kite companies still using hooks/chickenloops as standard, then you need to propose a solution that works for almost everyone. If only 1% of riders unhook then you can probably ignore...

1% is way off. I'd hazard a guess at 40% of riders I know who will ride unhooked (although not necessarily on a regular basis)
