Re: For our safety, this needs a fix now !

It's sad how many donkey dicks have responded to this thread. The donkey dick is not as reliable as it should be - period. I've never had the issue at launch, but it's happened to me many times out on the water recently - only since switching to a different bar/harness combo. Maybe it's a problem wi...

Re: Ocean Rodeo raises the bar to a whole new level

...to be blunt I've no interest in going back and discussing the older set up and it's application on other brands of kites - we've done that at length with you, and while your points were well taken... I wasn't talking to you. You need to go re-read this thread over the last few days. It was reign...

Re: Ocean Rodeo raises the bar to a whole new level

The 2010 or SLE 3.0 bar does have a safety leash connection below the bar. Its a small ring that passes through the Chicken loop set up, leaving everything above the bar extremely clean and uncluttered. They also have the OS handle on one front line if you want to flag the kite out. Just so you're ...

Re: Ocean Rodeo raises the bar to a whole new level

No reply? I'm not badgering. I honestly want to know. I really like the OR bars, but I have moved on to others with a center line safety that connects below the bar. Have you now added this? Or is it something else? Trying to figure out whether I would want to move back to the OR bar or not.

Re: Ocean Rodeo raises the bar to a whole new level

This is indeed unfortunate. In 99% of situations our current system offers adequate depower but, unfortunately until this 2011 season there were still extreme situations which ultimately demanded a total release of the kite. For 2011 all Ocean Rodeo kites will offer complete depower when ejected to...

Re: Kite maintenance......

Strange set of responses here so far. The usual kite maintenance mantra is to not worry about salt water on your kite. It is fresh water that will mildew if not allowed to COMPLETELY dry. For most people after most sessions, it is impractical to rinse with fresh water and have time to dry. So just r...

Re: Making a Kite Beach

superstoke is no joke. Ha ha ha. This guy is hilarious. It's some kind of Andy Koffman or Borat routine. Super dry absurdist humor, repeated over and over, kind of like Chinese water torture, but funny instead of torturous. Never cracking a smile. Thanks for the laugh. "Superstoke." Ha ha ha ha ha....
