Re: Covid vaccine

John Hopkins published a study which showed covid has not impacted the U.S. mortality rate. It was removed because people were using the report to not be scared....and our overseers want us to be scared..but not scared enough to stay at home..just scared enough to hate those who are non-compliant th...

Re: Slingshot UFO

Picked up a 9m and 5m and had the five out in 25 mph with the Zeeko Spitfire and it was pure bliss. The kite handled the gusts easy with smooth power delivery. I was concerned the kite would be too quick and it is quick but not overly so and very predictable. It flaps as much as my OR Flites which i...

Re: Boxer Water Re-Launch?

I have a 12m Boxer 2020 and if it gets on its back its a water anchor in light wind. With a medium NP glide I can get going in 10 knots. But if it hits the water I'm done. I think there is something wrong with the design. I drift launch every time I kite. So my thing has always been, if I can't wate...

Re: Turbulence while riding

I'm not an expert and have just gotten to the point of being able to ride both ways (switch feet). From my own experience I think what your feeling is turbulence you get from waves and currents. I learned to get up on the foil behind a boat and if you are in the prop wash area (anywhere behind the b...

Re: Best pocketboard for hydrofoil?

My fav. Pro Macho 33'' 1/2" thick, about 1kg/2 pounds? with spitfire duck foil. Insane maneuverability. This combi gives me the closest surfboard carving feel. 60cm mast, quite shallow waters where I ride. What is the spitfire duckfoil? The only thing I can make out from the picture is the r...

Re: Kiting in Florida

The problems in Florida can't be fixed. No one has the time to keep up with the busy body upper east coast snow-birds and privileged retirees that have nothing but time and money to bitch and moan about anyone that seems to be the least bit enjoying themselves. The worst group are the windsurfers, b...

Re: What I am doing wrong there?

Do you have your depower pulled all the way in? I had this same thing with my Ocean Rodeo Rise kites. They are designed this way with very little bar pressure and are really sensitive to input. This is how they looked when you launched them. The wind would blow the steering lines out like that. They...
