I have a bunch of 2019, 2020 Neos and 2021 SLS Neos, and no issues whatsoever. Friends have Neos, Evos and a couple of Juices too, and have not heard anything, not saying that there's no problem at all, and it sucks when it happens :/

Anyone please; does the board flex much more than the "normal" kitesurfboards, please? I need to have a flexy board for landings due to knees etc. and this one looks to tick all the boxes on paper, but how's the real life, please?

I have used different year models of Neo kites and none of this behaviour. Perhaps one reason for your kites not coming back from the "flattened" position is that the bridle pulleys get stuck to the bridles? It might be a bit on the smaller side for your length (I'm 190 x 78kg) but for weight ok. It depends a bit on how wide stance you have etc. My freestyle boards are 5'0 and 5'2 but for wave riding then with sharp nosed boards 5'8 is pretty much minimum, otherwise with my stance & length it's too easy...
