1.5mm dyneema pigtails?

I fucked up. I bought 1.5mm dyneema for pigtails not realising quite how thin 1.5mm is. It seems thinner than my actual kite lines.

Can I still use it? It's unsleeved...

Yes, it will leak too.

You need to close the locks on the tubes, then the strut only will leak, that has a hole.
I had an RRD Obsession that had a hole in the tube. That was hard to find.

How much pressure? How much experience do you have kiting? Are you crashing your kite LE down a lot?

Re: Difficulty landing with the Duotone rebel.

Try letting the bar out a bit a few meters before landing and pull in again when redirecting. This is the answer. I never heli-loop, never had kites that will do it (got a 2016 rebel now, it almost heli-loops, still scary) just redirect left and right as you come down, then as you land dive the kit...

Re: Difficulty landing with the Duotone rebel.

What I notice is that the rebel pulls more horizontally when sending it and it was best for me to send it from 11 to 12.30 instead of from 10ish, so that I can keep my edge better. Pull in to initiate the turn, then sheet out to speed the kite up and get it flying over your head, then pop and sheet...

Re: which is the best upwind bodydrag technique to recover the board?

I agree with Nothing2seehere. It's far better, if possibile, to immediately spot your board and go on looking back at it now and then while you're body dragging upwind. Much easier to find it than body dragging first and trying to find the board later. If you lose sight of your board you can use th...

Re: North Vegas help

The centre lines will go up, then split into 3. Those 3 lines will all be the same length when held in one hand. As you separate out the 3 lines into right, middle and left, the middle line will be fractionally longer than the two outer front lines. Back lines are a little longer. I forget exactly h...

Airush Vantage - small kites in gusty winds

Not seen many reviews of these kites ... look like they could be good for boosting.

How do they handle gusts? How is the airframe? Looks like tiny struts and LE... ? :)
