Longer fulcrum you mean ... Not really. Short guy short legs, tall guy tall legs. Ratio of distance between hook and ankles would be similar.

Depends on kite to. A kite with some aspect can be driven to the edge to spill power more so that a lower aspect kite. Yeh technique, strength and weight in that order. But weight can really help with bigger kites when shit really hits the fan. But even then, someone real heavy will eventually 'fold...

I have to say I'm with frank here. It's technique (given the same board which is a factor). Maybe it comes from being around in the early Foil, C kite days where edging was ALL you had to control power. I'm 75, ride with guys from 85 to 95kg, I'm invariably on a bigger kite (at least one size bigger...

Yeh agreed on that starksy actually, I to had the 2008/9 waroo...was a bit of a game changer at the time.

Been at it 16 seasons now can't say I have a favourite kite. They all served their purpose and had good and bad characteristics depending on how I was riding at the time.

Spot on..high prices (and increase margins) attract more competition and hence innovation, not low prices in markets. Then a market gets over supplied, THEN price competition comes to play, whereby companies than can work their economies of scale swallow up the indebted and struggling smaller compan...

Well my wife works full time, doing her Ph.D. Plus everything else not pointing the finger at her. We ride hard and fast, execute a lot of tricks on both tacks. An hour or two we are thoroughly spent. I can ride a surfboard or mow the lawn for hours on end and still be ready for sex. Might be a way ...
