bump i'd also be interested in any opinions on this one? I'd like to start kiting more in the surf rather than just flat water, been riding a liquid force WLF for the last 2 years, not knowing much about how the different boards feel it would be great if someone could explain what sort of difference...

unfortunately not, i was there last week (way before april 1st) and someone on the beach told me that it had already got through the 1st lot of talks with the authorities and looked like it was going to take effect soon. i call into st martin every now and then and was looking for some more info. it...

I heard recently Le Gallion on St Martin might soon be no kiting does anyone have more info on this and when (if at all) it will come into effect?

bringing the gear onboard should be no problem. by "cruise island" i presume you mean the cruise lines private island if you just turn up with kite gear its very unlikely they will allow you to kite there, but if you email them in advance and say ur thinking of booking the cruise only if you can kit...

the biggest problem in an avalanche is getting buried, presumably ur not kiting on your own so i'd say do your best to make sure the kite keeps flying that way your more likely to stay on the surface and even if you don't you will be far easier to find cause ur friends could follow the lines as most...

im here at the moment for a few weeks and to maximize your chances of wind you will need to travel around. buses are cheap and pretty frequent. I'm staying in Playa del Carmen but regularly Traveling 1 or 2 hrs each morning to get to a spot that has wind that day, if your looking for the best places...
