We flew the Key 10m in about 25 knots depowered so the 7 would work great in that range.

The main spot is Leeside park on the bay side of Okaloosa Island, but anywhere you can find wind and water is a good spot this time of year since the beaches are still empty. Liquid Surf N Sa...

Re: Slingshot Octane trouble - Better the RPM for waveriding?

For those who tried it: how was the bar pressure? Has the kite the same sheet out ability of the old turboes, i.e. total power release upon pushing the bar away in the bottoms? Bar pressure is just lite, but you can still feel the kite, which is something i like. When we flew the 10 the wind was pr...

Re: Wainman Hawai about to renew Blunt...?

The blunts that are out now are the 2010. The boards are just more popular and have a higher demand than they expected and have sold out of a few shipments. They should be back instock in about a month or so. As far as i know there isn't going to be any difference between the next shippments and the...

Re: Slingshot Octane trouble - Better the RPM for waveriding?

If you liked the Turbo, Slingshot is replacing with a new kite coming out in a month or so called the Key. Its a delta hybrid, so it has the grunt that the turbo had and turns alot faster. I flew one the other day in some gusty winds so i wasn't able to get a great bead on it, but its a solid kite w...

Re: Wainman Blunts size recommendations?

I have been riding the 130x40.5, and the shape and weight of the board makes it plane like boards that are bigger. If when you ride you have plenty of power in your kite, the 130 would do you just fine. If you are riding in light wind conditions then i might go for the 135. My recomendation for a gr...

Re: Choosing a Directional board

If your looking to get into surfing, i would get a board with all of those features, just in case i wanted to try strapless one if i just wanted to surf. The wainwam surfboards have all of those things, its the next board on my list, they even have the wide boards for less perfect waves like the one...
