Re: light wind trim?

You don't say what board you riding ?

I do a similar thing when I drive to hard upwind and then start pulling on the bar for more power and start to go slower and slower lol

I find on the foil the upwind angle is sensitive to the wind speed , if I'm in the zone then I can go upwind like crazy.

Re: North rebels

It's one if those kites that you struggle to get up and foiling , and when you eventually do, it then rips you off the front of the board. It just doesn't seem to depower nicely, and when you try drift it it wants to fall out the sky , prolly just me Everytime I've used it for foiling I've had a hor...

Re: North rebels

I have a north rebel 7m 2012 , my worst kite for foiling , I avoid it as much as possible and rather use my rrd9m

For me wave kites have been a good alternative to foiling specific kites

Re: Production carbon mast composition

Twist sheared the leading edge of the mast .... That's what you describe as the foil feeling wierd .. With each side now being separate from each other , the mast has no strength and is easily snapped. Would be interesting to know how thick is the skin ? Can you not see biaxial carbon that has been ...

Re: Is it possible to kite a surf-foil?

I have found learning to foil to be a long learning curve ... From runaway foil bombs that hurt , to thinking to gybe is impossible. I am on a surf foil now and it's just great fun , slow as anything , but it gives you time to think ... I did my first 360 on my first attempt ! I am however riding on...

Re: Chinese KB Hydrofoil : 300 USD + shipment

Why make the fuse in two pieces to save packaging space when the mast/strut is the longest piece ? Or would you recommend making that in two pieces too ?
