I tried the LF heel straps, but they always slipped off. I tightened them down and they were uncomfortable ... and they still slipped off. Didn't work for me as much as I tried.

There is an easy mod to fix this problem, search the forum for photos.

Basically, you take a short bungee and thread it through the clip loop. It prevents the hook from wiggling around.

When seated firmly, the hook won't bend out of shape any more.

Yes! I've always found that one side is favored for jumping, depending on the wind angle and the water currents.

My theory is that a kiter transfers all power from the kite through his body to the board. On a windsurfer, the mast transmits the power directly into the board, with some push through the rider's feet. So, on a windsurfer you're hanging on for the ride, but on a kite your body is more stressed beca...

For any kind of tendonitis: RICE (rest, ice, compression, elevation)

And aspirin.

For prevention, raise your awareness while riding: good posture, RELAX, don't twist joints, etc.

Stretching before going out is also helpful.

Ride the smallest, shortest, narrowest board that works for you.

No sense having extra drag down there.

I love the SS onepump, never had any problems after two years. Changing out the bladders is a pain the first time, but after you learn the system it's no big deal. SS fuel struts are "floppy" because they are smaller in diameter. The split-strut allows them to use smaller bladders because the sleeve...
