Re: Mystic stealth gen 3

@Smeagle - using the provided metal ring will also wear the chicken loop, using LF ring saves the CL and prolongs the life of the rope. The internal wear seems inevitable for me, so one have to check every now and then. I have figured out that the shorter rope you use the more it rubs in the eyelid...

Re: Mystic stealth gen 3

@matt_81a - I am using similar setup with low friction ring on my stealth bar and rope nearly does not wear at all. But I replaced it after 3 seasons as I notice wear inside the bar where the rope rubs against the eyelids at an angle. I am pretty sure it could have lasted for 1-2 more seasons, but ...

Re: Appletree Malus Domestica

My board is FCS and currently using H4 fins in Medium. These are Tri-Quad set. Definitely liked the board better with quads. I think Wieger Buurma from Appletree mentioned that Malus Domestica is designed more with quad setup in mind. I am considering buying another set of fins from FCS pivot series...

Re: Appletree Malus Domestica

I ride MD in 5'1" at 70kg and I am really happy with it. I totally agree with OP that it has such a huge sweet spot and is really stable when foot switching. I noticed it immediately that my foot switches were the easiest with this board. I am not a good wave rider, so I can not comment on that, but...

Re: Kiteboarding apps for Garmin watches

There is also KiteJump https://apps.garmin.com/en-US/apps/ca00 ... 9c8308d865 for Garmin watches, that combines Woo+Watch measuring your jump height by using just the sensors present on you Garmin watch. So if you like to jump - KiteJump is the best choice for your sessions.

Re: Garmin app to measure jump height

I second the opinion of @JakeFarley that a second screen wit TOD and session elapsed time are really a must. Otherwise the app seems to shaping nicely and I hope soon I will be able to join the testing! :thumb:

Here is mine with all the "repairs" I have done. Still holding on OK, but RE needs to step up their game in quality!

Re: Ride Engine Elite broken seams

I have seen quite a few REs with this issue and I definitely think Mystic and ION are better quality/build. But RE fits my body shape best.

Re: Ride Engine Elite broken seams

I have 2018 RE Elite that has the same issue, I just glue the broken seams with neoprene glue and so far so good. Hundreds of sessions. But this is not excuse for RE - they always had an issue with than and they should fix it!
