Re: foot switching - all the video's are photo shopped, right? advice please

I spent days trying to get foot switches with my board on the water. At the advice of friends I started trying them while in the air. It's easier in the air . I wish someone would have told me that at the start. speed = stability also lifting the back foot up while the foil is rising is another key ...

Re: Moses carbon mast weeping water

quick update here. the official response from moses is that there is no problem with the mast and water coming out is fine.

I guess I'll keep an eye on it.

Re: seat harness impedes toeside, anyone but me?

I use the mystic stealth bar with surf rope, it's been great for foiling as the heavy padding and integrated bar (screwed to the pad, not floating) means there's no rotation of the bar into my ribs. I've been using it with a hardshell majestic x harness but may try it with the foil seat harness later.

Re: Naish Torque Bar - flag line knot slipped through stopper

just to close this out, naish mailed me a replacement metal stopper. it's slightly shorter than the black plastic stopper and the hole is ever so slightly smaller as well. https://i.imgur.com/d2y2QKT.jpg btw, for anyone who doesn't have one, I got to use a fid I purchased a few years back, for the f...

Re: Moses 679

I had the same question earlier this season. As others have mentioned it's apparently a common and known issue. It happens more with my surf fuselage. The kite fuselage ends up with slightly loose screws and the surf fuselage ends up with pretty loose screws.

Moses carbon mast weeping water

So this is perplexing. I took apart my foil setup this afternoon to prepare for a drive back to Colorado. After taking apart the fuselage and mast, I noticed the mast was bubbling and weeping water in two spots outside of the screw holes. At first stronger and then weaker when I decided to take a vi...

Re: Naish Torque Bar - flag line knot slipped through stopper

Instead of a twist, in these situations I take a spare piece of line around 5cm long and simply make a knot that goes thru the two main lines loops. The sole function of the knot is to take up space in the stopper: the knot is squeezed but is not in any kind of load itself. I prefer this to twistin...

Naish Torque Bar - flag line knot slipped through stopper

So this is a new one for me. I was out yesterday on an upwinder and heard a twang sound. All four lines are still connected to my kite and it seems like it's still in the air. Then I realize the twang sound is coming from my safety line as it's completely loaded. There is a plastic stopper that capt...
