Re: Shinn Monk or a Crazyfly Shox?

Monk all the way, better upwind, a lot more pop, a lot smoother in the chop. Most of all a lot more edge in high wind. The shox aint a bad board but it isnt in the same league as the monk. I've used both and the Monk forever is the best chop eater I have owned so far.

Re: Herniated disc

Yes I have to agree, most of the comments have been great! I have to say I was pretty depressed and not vey optimistic on kiting or doing anything fun any time soon. I am focused and determined to return to 100%. Over the last two weeks I have made great progress and my attitude has become more pos...

Re: Herniated disc

Broke my back 4 places. I crushed the disc and the vertebraes in the lower back. After 8 years of kiting I think that the first years it improved my conditions since it built the core section (even with a seat if you crank a lot of jumps it helps the 6 pack because of the repeated contractions) The ...

Re: What would be the perfect 9m2 for me?

Id say for your size and 20-30 knots you might want to consider a 8m instead of 9. Thanks for help, i will rather go with the 9 so i could later on add a 7 to my quiver. Smaller than that wouldnt be reasonable, at my local beach 40 knots is the highest it goes, its only a couple of gusts a year. Ri...

Re: Airush Sector

The SS Naish Venturi has been purchased by the U.S. Navy for use as a helo carrier after spending 3 years docked in the Real board loft. A heavy lift vessel is en route to relocate it to Naval Station Norfolk, pending completion of dredging operations to permit transit of Oregon Inlet. In other wor...

Re: Light wind Board Recommendation

I have a 146 Shinn King Gee. Don't love it. I kite in Miami a lot with 15 knots and i juuuust can't really get going with my 135 Carved board. Im looking for a dynamic, fun light wind board that will get me riding in light wind, but will let me still pull some freestyle moves and have fun. Any reco...

Re: Going back to C-Kites. SLEs are inferior for freestyle

First time on a C-kite this year, Core GTS2 and i love it. My favorite kite so far! And I consider my self more of a freerider then a wakestyle/freestyler. Yeah Core Gts2 arent real C Kite. If you want a real C Kite from Core go with the new "Impact": I tried it in gusty weather and hated it. It wi...

Except that C kites have been refined a lot since 2008, the kites now have as much range as the typical SLE freestyle kite and depower better with some board skills.
As much range.... yeah right .....

Re: Global winds...getting less?

Hey MM... what do you get for promoting all that.... Satisfaction to see the good guys win, for the truth, and I wish I could see all your faces when you realise you've been taken but I've got imagination. I must admit I see opportunity for a financial gain too but it is available to everyone if yo...
