Re: Switch MJ Comp Twintip Review

Got a chance to try the board fin less in a slick and it was amazing. Got to imagine that it would be even better with boots!

Re: Combat XXX 2 Review

Got a chance to fly this kite 4 line. Even though switch states that the kite doesn't perform well without the 5th line, I found it to fly fine. When I put it up in the air it looked like an old fuel or BFK. It actually performed kinda like and old c kite which for me was fine. As A bigger guy I lik...

Re: Method V2 9M (not your average wave kite)

Update on kite. Even more stoked on this kite! I can ride my LF kite fish with this kite in light wind. Im guessing anywhere between 12 and 16mph. Man this 9 has some grunt. Also had it in 35 mph and it performed great with a little surf board. Did have to make TE knots all the way out. If your a bi...

Re: Method V2 9M (not your average wave kite)

Hasse It is unfortunate that you feel like Switch has done you wrong. I have had nothing but fair and sometimes over accommodating dealings with Switch customer service. I used to ride all the big name overpriced kites but what I found was their kites could not stand up to my abuse and when they did...

Method V2 9M (not your average wave kite)

It is obvious that switch spent alot of time refining the method with Felix to bring an awesome wave kite to the world. Even though the V1 methods were either loved or hated(sold mine shortly after buying), the V2's are a top contender in the kite surf arena. Is this kite the surf kite for you? Well...

Combat XXX 2 Review

When I herd Switch said they were coming out with the V2 version of the Combat I was a little concerned. How were they going to improve on what I felt was pretty much the perfect C kite. I am super stoked to say that the only two things they did change were exactly what I thought needed changing. So...

Re: Whose a weirdo and prefer upwind wave riding?

Yes I am also an upwind weirdo when the conditions are right. I am the kind of kite boarder who lets his conditions dictate how and what I ride. so I'm not the guy riding a surfboard in flat water or a TT with boots in the ocean. These guys in my opinion are the weirdos. Some of the best waves I hav...

Re: Switch Nitro V2 14M Freestyle/Race. Lightwind(Wake and S

Update on review This is what others have said about the kite. It has great low end pull and has a c kite feel. This kite has been a session save for me. Now when its light wind I'm just as stoked as when its really honking. This kite paired with my light wind LF Kite Fish(awesome super fun board) h...

Re: Optimum pressure a kite should be pumped up to

No gauge is accurate. When the kite gets filled with air check LE with hand every pump or so until it gets firm. If you can bend LE in half than not enough air. Other methods I have heard are when the pump starts to resist than you have enough air, flick with finger and it should make a high plink n...
