Re: Core XR4 - XR4 LW

Little update on the Xr4 my favorite kite was my Xr3 9m. I sold it for a Xr4 9m. I have to say that this is quite an upgrade on the last one. The kite has a higher Aspect Ration and it does make quite a difference. It tracks a lot better upwind. The kite is faster, not faster looping but faster on w...

Re: Is Kiteboarding a good workout?

Depending on the conditions and also on your style. Kited yesterday in 25 to 30 knots for 3 hours, carving, big air etc.. that was a good workout.

Went kiting tonight in 10 to 12 knots wit the sector... as good a workout as mowing my lawn ;-)

It really depends on the conditions.

Re: Switchblade 2015 bar pressure

In 2009 I switched for 1st generation Kahoona to Cabrinhas xBow 9m and 13m after reading reviews and article about their featherlight bar pressure. I went from pain in my elbows to severe tendinitis... Later on i bought a switchblade 11m 2011 which was medium +. In 2013 after reading about the switc...

Re: Core Riot x3 wind range - information needed

One of the reason I like these kites is the range that they offer. At 165 pounds on my 9m , I can get out with a lw surf or sector 54 in 13-14 knots, and keep it up to 30 knots. At 30 it isnt really much fun but still I am not in danger. Sweet spot for cranking big air is mid 20's. With the 7m : 20 ...

Re: Best non-foil light wind board; directional or twin tip?

I live in an area where we often get lightwind in the summer. These are in order and also in appreciation. -sector 60. (Bit rough in the chop) but unless you ride a foil it is hard to beat, might get overpowered once the wind picks up a bit. - -sector 54 a blast and also perform good in stronger wi...

Re: seen this yet? Kitesurfer hits paraglider

It happened in Lac St-Jean quebec; the PG is pretty messud up, broken hips (x2), legs (x3), vertebraes (x2) etc.. He should recover but it will be a long process; 3 months in wheelchair + another 3 months of readaptation. Good news is the spine nerves weren't touch . Been there broke my back 4 place...
