Re: Mako Wide150 /40 VS Nobile NHP vs Nobile T5 vs Shinn.which 1

I will try to answer half of your request. 2009 nhp 137 vs mako wide. mako - way smoother in chop upwind - nobile pop - nobile The mako is an amazing board for having just 2 center fins, as it glides through chop and makes carves very smooth. when it comes to edging hard and jumping, a regular tt is...

Re: NHP reviews?

had a chance to ride the 09 666 nhp 137x44. winds 10-20 knots, 12m royal era, weight 72kg very smooth board, toe side was a lot better than the previous models. i thought the human concept would be a gimmick, but it actually made for an enjoyable ride. i usually ride my 07 666 132 and find it more t...

Re: Fins for a Crazy Fly Cruiser Pro 145 x 44

Krazedkiter, i had the 135x46 cf and added 2" best fins, and it made a lot of difference. the board handled landings better when the wind picked up- and would go upwind better. suggestion though, dont buy 4 fins for 80-, as you only need to change the heel side edge ones, and this would save you $ a...

Re: What seat harness for kiter with back problem?

i kind of agree with ian c, as i switch between the dakine nitrous and mystic warrior. i had a chance to try a friends mystic force shield whom has lower back issues. the force shield is going to be on my xmas list! good support, much more comfy than the dakine shorts, without the strain of the warr...

Re: nobile 2009

Hara,

did you move up/ or down in size with the 09 vs the 07 board you were riding. i am guessing the loss in upwind is due to the increase in rocker (less spray in the face) and that is why they increased the length of the boards this year.

Re: Light Wind Board Choice?

for the crazyfly try putting 1.5 - 2 inch fins on the heel side, this will fix the landing issues, as it is a great board.

Re: anyone riding a spleene session?

thanks for the replies. i am going to replace last years crazy fly 135x46 for something that has more range, and basically more fun. at 72kg, my 14m era and the cf, i can ride in 10knots, but when the wind picks up the board is not much fun in waves as it is so flat. i was interested in these boards...
