Totally agree with you Bille...I had an handglider and was a skydiver too. It was not a problem for me going outside an airplane but I'd never think about a base jump. Both very nice kites and so different if compared. They are meant for different use.
The choice is up to your style and likes.

IMO You should go and try them.

In this 2004 picture, it was me on one of the first released Rhino05 in 14m size (...hoooo the 5th line !!! :o :o :o ) and a friend of mine still in love with his 9.3m Rhino01 going at the speed and upwind angle. He was just complaining a little problem whit the depower. :lol: :lol: :lol:

AR5 in 15,5 size was my first kite. Lightwind monster...(I'm just 70kg) and kiting was not banned yet.
