Re: Moses W1000 - Is it too big for Kiting?

I am 95-100kg and use the 800 a lot kiting, it is great low end, as I hardly use the 633 now, and is great for speed. For boosting though, the 800 is too wide (it will bite you if you're not on your A game), therefore I have a 695 for that, it is easier to control, can hold more power on foil prepar...

Re: Sabfoil/Moses - 799 vs 633 for kiting

I use the 400 with the 633, makes it more fun than the 483, but 483 better in light winds.

How does the 633 feel on the HS700, it would certainly liven it up more being closer to the mast verves the old 710?

Sabfoil/Moses - 799 vs 633 for kiting

Any feed back on the 799 wing for kiting? How does it compare to the 633?

I guess it should be faster as higher AR, but less maneuverable as wider.

Interested to hear feedback from experienced riders who have tried both.

Thanks

Re: Sabfoil / Moses Bigger wing than 950 and smaller than 1100 for winging

Context: I wing around Sydney airport (harbour, within 5kms) and use the airport's wind sensor to give low/high range. However, what the airport sensors read is completely different to wind on the surface for winging. For kiting it's very accurate, albeit the kite is on 24m lines. http://www.bom.gov...

Re: Sabfoil / Moses Bigger wing than 950 and smaller than 1100 for winging

Yes, the 790 is not for winging, too slow.

250 HA Lift wing = no interest as a 1 piece and can't travel with it.

Sabfoil / Moses Bigger wing than 950 and smaller than 1100 for winging

I'm a heavier guy (6'2, 100kg not that fat, just a big guy) and ride a 111L 5'4 board and I reckon Sabfoil needs a bigger wing than 950 and smaller than 1100 for winging, 1100 is just so big for light to medium conditions in my opinion. I bought the 950 thinking it was 1650cm (typo on their website)...

Best seat harness for foiling?

I have an Ozone back country which is good, but when riding loaded up and boosting on the foil, after a while the straps dig into the legs which become uncomfortable and requires constant adjustment. Can anyone recommend a better seat harness and/or bar/slider to use for foiling and boosting jumps o...

Re: Sabfoil Moses 950 vs 940 vs 945

So from what I deduce from who have read and replied to this thread, it appears that there are no guys who are 90kg+ riding the 940, is this correct?
