My experiance is that an 18m Speed 5 have les power and upwind ability then the 18m Sonic 2. So I would really choose the Sonic 2. If you want approximate the same low-end you would have to choose the 21m Speed 5.

I have flown the 18m & 21m Speed 5 and I have now the Sonic 2 18m.

Looks like the 5th line splits towards the leading edge and with the lower v, i wonder if it will fly more like the chaos and vegas? I'm digging it The Chaos and the Vegas are really not the same kite. De Chaos steers way more direct that the Vegas. The 2015/2016 Torch looks more like the 2016 Chaos.

I would try the following kites:

- North Evo;
- Cabrinha Switchblade;
- Epic Screamer;
- Ocean Rodeo Razor.

Al kites that can be looped and also jump extremely good. Go test them.
