Guys-

I have a Naish Bar and one of the rubber post on the side of the bar is almost cut in half. I have tried to glue it back together using the glue you get in the kite repair kit, but it does not hold. I also looked at a crazy glue, but it was not recommended for for water immersed parts. So I was wondering if anybody had the same issue and which glue one has used to fix it.

Thanks

-Marc

Your Naish dealer should be able to get you a new ones. In the mean time, try common PVC electrical tape. I use it for some repairs and it has excellent resistance to salt water. Wrap it several layers thick.

it is hard to get any spare parts from Naish.
But try with your dealer or an importer.

When I talked to the importer about the delivery of X2s, he told me they didn't have any spare parts in Germany yet.
Quite weird and annoying to see that all these kite companies aren't able to support their products properly. Imagine we weren't all stoked with the sport and completely addicted.

hey ... this is nothing compared to '2000 ...

my board-shaper had to wait about 3 months until he got blanks, fin boxes were even harder to get.

i waitetd nearly 5 months for a kite and after 6 and a half month canceled the order for a bar & lines ...

well ... now i got about 20 different brands to choose from

True, but still very bad overall.

my bar ends cracked too. some silicone would mprobably work well. it will hold it together, but still be able to flex with it. i don't know how long it will last though. the electrical tape is probably the best bet until you get replacements.
