Anyone knows how the wind is like in November/December in Tarifa? For most spots except South Afrika and Brasil, its a low wind time of the year. Also Tarifa??

Another option (fair bit further away) is West oz the wind rocks from october thru late march with great uncrowded spots up and down the coast all 4000 + kms of it

less than 3 months to go until the seabreeze paterns kick in

Hey rene q look at this!

Image Image

The first diagram shows air temperature, the second average wind all year long (beaufort).
Consider that the last diagram shows AVERAGE wind,in fact in December you can easily face 35 knots Levante or strong Poniente with 2 meters high waves!
Usually wind is Levante or Poniente,so it always blows side or side-on shore

If you want to know more, ask me.
Cheers

You're right man,Levante is slighty off shore in Los Lances and Rio Jara but I was talking about the most frequented spot: Val de vaqueros-la duna;in fact there is a sandy gulf here,so if you don't go too far from the shore you're sure to land even when something goes wrong.

That sounds very nice Trikke
This sounds like a good euro-spot in Nov-Dec.
I guess that the crowd of kitesurfers and windsurfers is also a little less than the warmer months! - we are used to quite cold weather in Denmark in wintertime, so 15-17 degrees is nice for a danish kitesurfer
How is the water temperature aprox.?

Can't post the diagram,so here's the url.
Anyway water temperature in Nov-Dec is about 13°-16°C.

Cheers

Another option is Hurghada in Egypt where you have wind throughout the year and the water temperature is 20 and air 25 in December - January.

4.5 Hours from Copenhagen and Magawish Hotel with Star Tour / Fritidsresor. Big Naish kite center on the beach.
