Hi
what would be the suable top end of AMP 8.7m2 (flat around 12m2) for 75kg rider in nasty chop? Of course it depends on experience, board, water conditions?
thanks

depends on the size of your balls
i´m riding the same kite and loving it, but somewhere in 6 bft( depending on your liking of hardcore)
if you lift off on the beach with the kite at 12 the wind is strong

I did ride it once in a very overpowered condition(the only time a had strong wind since I have it). I couldn't walk on the beach so my father helped me getting in the water.
It was amazing, thinl it was about 6, with a board of 134 by 39/ Then it's fun to ride, way overpowered

I bought the Amp 8.7 12 (flat) to compliment my 11.9. (16 flat) I wish it was a 7.0 (10 flat)...I'm staying up wind in 15kts...and starting to think about my wife and kids over 25 kts....What intrigues me is the Whip is higher aspect than the Amp, yet from what I hear, it's slower turning than the Amp. So I'm starting to think, there's two kinds of high aspect kites, ones that turn quick and ones that just shoot forward in the window, like the whip without requiring constant attention at the bar. For that reason, I imagine the whip goes up wind really well and jumps really well without the nervous steering thing...I was looking at the Matrix because I assume it would be a slower Amp, but maybe the Whip is the way to go...
