I am thinking of getting a 16 and a 10 Toro 2 .
Is this an OK combo? I weigh 80 kg and ride with intermediate skills on a 150*40 custom twintip. Ã

stay away from the T2 in the larger sizes. It is a very stable kite, but has ZERO lift. I flew an 18 for 3 weeks and sold it. Couldn't stand it.

I know about the negative reputation of the toro 2 18 but I believe the 16 has an ok rep and the 10 quite a good one.
I am more concerned about the lack of overlap between 10 and 16.

The cheapest way to get a toro2 2kite combo is to buy one & cut it in half. They will fly just as well as one. Terrible kite. Stay away.

I have to agree with these guys.
Had the Toro2 size 16, flew it once and sold it immediately!
Absolutely zero lift, actually everyone else at my kite spot sold theirs as well immediately.
The only positive was a highly stable kite, but hey that does not get you moving/
Just trying to prevent you from wasting Money and time...

I had own also a Toro2 12 and 16m2. The Kite is very stable but the guys are right. There is no lift. You dont have time to do tricks or increase your abilities. With a 12 you are also not able to kite with your Weight and board above 21knots. I'm happy now with my Rhino04's Go for another Kite.

the small toro2 (10 -12) are good kites. they just need to set up right. Change the rear pigtails, add about 4 inches. The 10 can handle a lot of wind 25 knots +.
