Does anybody knows what (if any) is the difference in the winds between Paros and Naxos during the beginning of June?
Any advise will be apreciated

Abel hi,
Its exactly the same fella. There is the venturi effect between the 2 islands
and naxos makes the most of this as the paros shore is not in the venturi side.
Wind in mikri is notably stronger. whern 3 bft in other shores, mikri has 5.
never been to paros so maybe another can comment ?

In Paros they claim that they have the same effect between Paros and Antiparos.
It seems that nobody compared the two spots.
See ya in a couple of weeks in Naxos

Guys I'm trying to figure out where my summer kite trip will be, Cyclades are on the agenda because of wind and party.
But - I have been to Mykonos like 10 times when I was a kid for windsurfing, and I remember nukin winds July/August. Biggest sail was 5.0, and most of the time I was using a 4.0 or 4.5. That means the small stuff for kiting, like a 9.0 and less frequently 11.5.
That was Mykonos, I remember how we used to say there was always more wind in Mykonos than Paros.
So, how is Paros in July/August for kiting, is it balls-to-the wall wind the whole time or more moderate? Gusty or not?
And the partying...good I assume?
Steve
