How many people use powerlock? Do most people like this system?
Best regards,
Marc

I also love it. Very nice to able to lock it in full power when the arms need some rest.
I use the middle settings. Easy to lock, easy to unlock.

Marc,
I recently tried it..I like to try everything. I think the post above that says
but it takes some time to get used to it.
is very true.
I tried it and when I sheeted in a little to much it would lock when I didn't want it too but once it did, it was relaxing. (For all those people with elbow problems..this is the bar for you) In addition, since I was using it for the fist time, I sometimes I found it a bit difficult to unlock..
I think it takes some time to get use to it but overall, I was impressed with the recon and the powerlock bar.

by far the best bar set up on the market, simple and affective without extra crap hanging around, you will step up a level with this set up

Hello all,
in the last 2 years I changed 3 brands of kites but still using my powerlock. Cabrinha, Naish, Airush and now North.
Actually I'm using the 2004 powerlock bar with a naish depower strap!!!
I try also the North bar that is ok but in my opinion the Cabrinha is the best!!! feel so natural on your hand... no more blister!!!
Also you will get use to it after 1 session!!! and You wll never go back.
Bye Jankie

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT,
Like it has already been mentioned it does take a while to get used to but once your there its awesome. I often use it to power up and depower in gusty conditions by pulling it in and pushing it out. I definitly recommend it.

When I first started riding in my hard loop on my North bar, I had some spatacular wipe outs when I was over powered and got pulled off the edge. Also I was dragged several time for what seemed like eternity because I could not pull the bar in to get the hard loop off the harness hook.
I now have the 2004 Cabrinha power lock bar and I can ride locked in and powered up (just like in the hard loop), but if I got hit by a gust, I can unlock the bar and depower. This has given me the practice and developed my confidence and board skills now that I can handle most gusts and stay locked in the power lock. The other nice feature is the emergecy quick release on the chicken loop. It definitely is a nice setup.
