the margins are the same as anyone else, .............
That simply is not true and you are not representing the truth well at all. I used to be a best dealer, but dropped the line years ago, right before the Hellfish disaster. the margins were much less than all others for dealers. even with incentives and volume discounts, etc, etc, Best still had the lowest margins of anyone by far.

Back then though, it wasn't so bad, because most consumers didn't mind paying retail or close to it because the retail pricing was attractive. Disruptive marketing strategies were in place to gain market share. simple marketing 101.

So tell the truth...have you increase margins significantly? I can find out...so tell the truth. If so...good on you. If not, I can see how dealers are having a tougher and tougher time making much with Best since the kites prices are inching closer and closer and closer to the top brands and there's more offerings of other brands in the same price range with better margins.

So dealers have to sell volumes and volumes of Best kites to make the same as with other brands.

The above is based on factual information with a dash of opinions thrown in for good measure.

Bottom line...there's a lot of great kites on the market. Support those who you feel comfortable doing business with.

Not really.... We have to pay 21,5% VAT + import duties on the amount + shipping. :angryfire: So it would stil cost me almost 1100 euro. I can get better deals at the local shop and won't have to worry about warranty problems.
